![]() Click on a photo for larger view Tom Yuhas began his career in art while lecturing in Western Art History at two universities and the National Palace Museum in Taipei, Taiwan. During the three years there, he found a deep resonance with the Chinese tradition of landscape painting and the subtlety of the Chinese brush and Chinese paper. Landscapes also appeared in his silkscreen prints. Upon his return to Ann Arbor, Michigan, he also expanded his work in sculpture. He has had six one-man shows and 14 group exhibitions. His work is in private collections in Asia, Europe and the United States. For myself, the beauty of Nature has always produced an inner calm and quiet. After eighteen years as a psychotherapist in Los Angeles, I retired to Clear Lake to return to my art. I hope to capture some of the beauty of the area in my work. |
